As I was painting this, I was thinking about verses like Psalm 23:6 - "Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life..." and Acts 5:15 - "...people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter's shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by." I see the blue at the top, and running though this painting as the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit comes behind us, and where ever we have been, there is a change. When we leave a place, we should leave goodness, love and the Holy Spirit behind. This was painted Saturday night at Keith and Sanna Luker and Kevin Prosch's Shatter conference. Someone at the conference saw this as a painting about Isaiah 52:7/Romans 10:15 - "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" On the back of this painting is a painting that I did with my hands during the worship that came forth after the sermon.
